The Sandford

Externally, the Sandford merges into its natural surroundings.

The flat sedum roof and natural cedar cladding makes the holiday lodge part of the environment. It’s a cross pollination of natural design with rustic, industrial design with the 4 galvanised downpipes. All water runs off the sedum roof, flowing out of a corner, visibly over into the steel Lindab water hoppers. The cool grey doors and windows, mixed with the cedar and galvanised downpipes, make the contemporary Sandford at home in the Pathfinder Homes Collection.

Internally

It’s a different world of modern, clean design. Open the large double Rationel doors & step into the open plan snug. Don’t be put off by the flat ceiling; this gives a snug retreat feel that forces you to relax as you are reminded that you’re on holiday.

The Lounge

The lounge is light and airy from the vast continuous space, produced by the open doors. They pour natural light into the lounge, offering expansive panorama views with the open side. This immediately makes the retreat an airy, cool, calm living space. Two comfy, snug sofas enjoy the best views from the Sandford, so why not take the opportunity to take in the vista whilst reading a novel.

The simple, tasteful furniture matches the organic, rustic feel with the laminate oak flooring throughout. Completely open plan, the kitchen, situated behind the lounge in an L-shape layout with a gorgeous island unit for breakfast or preparing a large family lunch. The kitchen promotes a contemporary feel of style & sophistication, continuing the airy, cool tones of the retreat.

Kitchen

Just off the kitchen is the twin room. Simple and delightful for children or guests but with plenty of space due to the built in wardrobe. Two solid oak single beds with white sheets & duvets exude the cooling, calm, holiday atmosphere. The main bathroom reflects an organic spa area with contemporary styling such as the floating, counter balanced sink and hidden toilet cistern. The large glass mirror cabinet emphasises the space of the natural spa style room with organic materials that encourages relaxation.

Master Bedroom

The unique layout of the Master bedroom allows for the maximisation of space making it fresh, light, airy and cool. The solid oak king size bed is illuminated by the full height opening window at the foot of the bed and the large fully glazed double doors that open wide onto your decking and provide the most stunning views whilst having breakfast in bed. With 2 fully opening energy efficient, environmentally friendly and sustainable Rationel windows and double doors, the master bedroom blurs the distinction between internal and external spaces. The bedroom corridor acts as an open plan walk-in wardrobe that leaves uncluttered space in the sleeping compartment. The Ensuite mirrors the main bathrooms spa style design with natural solid oak finishing and a light, airy, natural feel.
