The date for Higher Charaton Park’s , Cornwall Holiday Park grand opening has been confirmed as Saturday 30th November! Goundworks are proceeding well in the Cornish village of Pensilva (about four miles from Liskared), with the plans to bring 9 luxury, Pathfinder Homes to the village before summer 2020.
Work is underway for a new, unique holiday park in East Cornwall with permission to place 9 accessible lodges granted by Cornwall Council earlier this year. The application was supported by Countryside Mobility (South West) stating “at present there appears to be a lack of accredited accessible accommodation in the region where the proposed units will undoubtedly enable more disabled people to spend time in the region and in particular at Siblyback Lake where a Tramper and Wheelyboat are already available for hire” (summarised).
Named Higher Charaton Park, in homage to the farm next door, the developers have added a unique twist to the new park being the only one in the South West offering lodges for sale on a freehold basis. This means owners will not only buy the lodge but they also purchase the land it sits on removing the worry of annual ground rent and restricted license agreements. A conscious decision made considering not only the perspective buyers of the homes but also, traffic flow around local villages and noise & light pollution.
The park has been granted a 12 month holiday licence which means owners can escape from the hustle & bustle of their own house at any time of year & spend as much time at Higher Charaton Park as they want! All of the homes will be built by local, Devon based manufacturer Pathfinder Homes which means they are all built to residential standard & of the highest quality ensuring comfortable use of the lodge even in the colder months.
However, there’s more to each purchase than just a beautiful home; each plot offers its own landscaped private courtyard and a large decking area. Owners have the option of adding a personal Hot Tub, electric car charging points or even solar panels.
