Chris and Nicky Day owned a very successful farm in the heart of somerset. With farming in the family and in the blood Chris had never really wanted to do anything else. However, in 2018 due to renovations and extensions in the local area, a road was planned to run through the farm. Chris and Nicky took this unsettling as an opportunity and began looking for ways to diversify their business and stumbled across Pathfinder Homes.

Before a spade went in the ground, our team visited the farm, scoped out the site and brought along industry experts including Hoseasons to provide projections and figures. Our Steve, Henfields dedicated Account Manager even took Chris & Nicky around to some of our other customers who were running similar business models as to Chris’ intentions. This provided Chris with a deeper insight and understanding of his newest adventure and offered advice, reassurance. Henfield’s Country Park was a unique project, with owner, manufacturer and rental agent all collaborating from the outset. This meant all aspects could be considered and planned in advance.

Henfields Country Park didn’t want to follow the trend and wanted to create and run their park differently. They purchased standard Pathfinder Homes with a high specification and didn’t do this by halves. A Willow, A County Retreat, A Tuscany, A Romantic Nest and a fully accessible pod was among the first homes to be sited. Together their ground works team alongside our internal finishing team, interior designers we worked to get the park show room ready!

Now, a brand new yet well established holiday park, Henfield Country Park is practically a sell out, week on week!
