Our new segment takes a look at a day in the life of the fine people who keep Pathfinder Homes running, starting with our Stores Manager, Graham! Graham has worked with Pathfinder Homes for a total of 12 months to date. In his spare time he loves spending time with kids and wife, playing darts, holidaying in Italy or cheering on Derby County Football Club.
Graham’s Day:
I wake up between: between 5am and 6am
I start my day at: about 07:45
I’m responsible for: Deliveries & dispatch of goods at Pathfinder Homes
The best thing about my job is: The responsibility of arranging for stock to be delivered to each and every home during production. I really enjoy seeing all the components combined and seeing the final result.
My favourite work memory so far is: Being given the opportunity to represent stores as manager.
Advice I’d give to somebody getting into this industry: Be here every day and exceed daily.
Graham’s Daily Itinerary:
9am: Arranging for goods to be taken to the correct homes and booked out through the correct process
11am: Organising deliveries and goods in and out
1pm: Enjoying my lunch
3pm: Sorting out next day’s home orders
4pm: Start shut down and stock security
6pm: Children have hopefully eaten their tea by now, so, I read stories and get them ready for bed.
