Congratulations to our friends at Palstone Lodges!!
An eco-friendly South Hams holiday park has won a prestigious conservation award for the second year running.
Palstone Lodges are a unique, garden-style holiday park that offers contemporary holiday lodges for sale in the South Hams. They have won the coveted David Bellamy Conservation Award. This is for the steps they’ve taken in managing their land as a haven for wildlife and their efforts in preserving rare and beautiful plants and wildlife.
The award acknowledges the variety of plants, trees and shrubbery that surround the luxury holiday homes at Palstone. Described by the award judges as “an exotic oasis of trees, unusual plants such as Metasequoias and Aralias feature throughout the site with native wildflowers sitting next to rare plants from around the world.”
Matt Morgan, co-owner of Palstone Lodges, said: “We are delighted to have been awarded a David Bellamy Conservation Award again because we are all about planting and landscaping. Over the years we’ve worked hard to create interesting gardens nurturing rare and unusual plants. Therefore, We’re absolutely thrilled to receive this accolade from such a respected conservation foundation.”
