Main Purpose:
To deliver an effective and efficient, high quality aftercare service to all customers, thereby ensuring a first-rate service is delivered and achieving a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Key Responsibilities:
To carry out professional high-quality finishing works to complete a home once it has been delivered and sited at the client’s location. This may require long distance travel and over-night stays of up to 4 nights per week. A staying out allowance of £35 per night will be paid or overnight and a company van provided after a 4-6 week bedding in period where you will be accompanying one of our current Aftersales Techs. The length of stay will be dictated by the number of homes and works required. Specific requirements for any large projects will be discussed and agreed prior to the works commencing, please be aware this is a job where travelling is a daily routine with this job so you will get your jobs issued to you from our home base in Newton Abbot but you will travel to where the work is required for that day/week, weekend work is not required for this role.
- Tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following activities:
- Checking the siting & levelling of the homes
- Cladding & textured coating systems (i.e. Resitex or similar)
- Roofing
- General Carpentry
- Kitchen fitting inc. worktops
- Doors & windows
- Tiling
- Basic plumbing & electrics
- Painting & decorating
- Carpet & vinyl laying
- Silicone & mastic sealing
- Completion of all jobs to the highest of standards in a minimal number of visits
- Ensuring customers receive a prompt and courteous service.
- Handling and reporting customer complaints to the Aftercare Team.
- Maintaining accurate records of works undertaken, completing Home PDI ( ensuring it is signed by the client.
- Submitting all paperwork inc. worksheets, timesheets, expenses and receipts in a timely and complete manner.
- To carry out daily Health & Safety checks on Company vehicles and inform the Aftercare Office Team about any defects or servicing / certification or tax requirements.
- Ensuring that all tools and equipment are in full and safe working order.
- To check the stock requirements for materials, paint etc. and order as necessary.
- Supporting the rest of the Aftercare Team as necessary to ensure the delivery of the best possible customer service

Up to £14.00 per hour
