• Can I view my homes in build?

Come along to our working factory and experience the magic for yourself, we would love to welcome you! Situated in the picturesque town of Bovey Tracy, just outside of Newton Abbot, Devon. Our selection studio hosts stunning panoramic views of the famous Haytor offering you the opportunity to make a day of it!

All we ask is a half hour warning prior to your visit so we can ensure our team are available to show you around! Call us today to arrange your appointment!

 

• What guarantees do I go?

We are pleased to offer a 10-year warranty with every home we build in collaboration with our partners over at Platinum Seal. However, you can rest assured our build quality should mean that you won’t be needing this.

Platinum Seal provides cover for all our homes which are built to BS3632 whether on a residential park, holiday/leisure park or even on your own land.

Every home we build is registered with the Platinum Seal Scheme which includes:

• 10 Years Insured Structural Warranty for all units manufactured to BS3632 (including liquidation cover)
• Fully regulated insured structural warranty scheme
• Available on both Leisure and Residential Park Homes and Lodges within the UK (including commercial fleet homes)

Year 1-2

Pathfinder Homes are responsible for any structural defects to your home for the first 2 years from the date of delivery of your lodge. However in the first 12 months from the date of manufacture, we are also responsible for the internal defects that are stated within our terms and conditions. Should we not be able to fulfil our obligations during this time, the Platinum Seal scheme will take on our responsibility for any structural defect only with their liquidation covers as part of your standard Platinum Seal cover.

Year 3-10

After the manufacturer warranty ends, a further 8 years insurance up to a maximum of 10 years from the date of manufacture. The Platinum Seal Insurer will provide insurance protection if there are structural defects to your park home. This cover does not include faults to the base your park home is sited as this is the responsibility of your park owner/operator and excludes structural defects as a result of a lack of maintenance or wear and tear.

 

• What is the lifespan of my home?

We’ve been building homes since 1958 and we’re pleased to say that these are still being lived in up to this DAY! Our build quality has only improved in this time meaning that you can be sure your home is built to be lived in.

 

• Can I customise my home?

YES! We build our home to meet our customer specifications whether that’s choosing to bespoke one of our standard models or building completely bespoke to best suit you … we can do it for you!

You will be invited to our Head Quarters to experience our design studio and create a full specification for your new home. The end result will be a bespoke personal design specification with which we can create a Floor Plan and a quote to build your Lodge.

• How do I get my lodge delivered?

We can help you organise the delivery of your home but we ourselves don’t deliver.

 

• Do I need planning?

Yes and no… it all depends on where the home will be sited and what it will be used for. However, we have a FREE in house planning team who can help you. Speak to a member of our team today to find out more and how they can help or find out more here!

 

• Do you build your homes on site?

Yes, we build on site in Heathfield, Devon across three factories… come see us and have a factory walk!

 

• Are you dog-friendly?

Yes, we’re extremely dog friendly! Although you won’t be allowed to bring your pets on a factory walk… they’re more than welcome to visit our selection studio. We have even made homes bespoke to feature specific features for client’s furry friends including:

• Bespoke dog bedrooms, with underfloor heating and dog height mounted TV.
• Bespoke dog beds
• Designed luxury dog kennels
• Dog play rooms
• Dog showers

 

• Are your homes built to building regulations?

With the perfect blend of cutting-edge technology, high-quality materials, and a knowledgeable, dedicated team, this includes our technical team with over 30 years of experience, making sure we build our homes to the very highest standard, surpassing regulations and all expectations. Every home is built to the governing regulation standard (known in the industry as BS3632;2015, the British Standards for Building Park Homes), this means whether you choose a traditional yet luxurious Park Home or an innovative and modern Holiday Lodge, your new sanctuary will be built to be lived in.

 

• How quickly can you build a lodge?

Once your home is in build it will take around 20 days to be completed.

 

• What are your open times?

Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm.

 

• Who do I contact when my lodge is sited?

Once your home has been site this is when our aftercare team will take over. Don’t worry thouh, we will get in touch before your home is dispatched.
