We are delighted to introduce to you the Year of the Retreat! This will mark our theme for the year, celebrating the glory and colour that our country has to offer. A good ol’ fashioned staycation can be better than an exotic, long haul trip – we promise; especially when you stay in a Pathfinder Home. This year, we bring you not one, not two, but three BRAND NEW home designs!
Whilst we’ve had to stay at home, we have been very busy being inspired by the beauty around us and have created some innovative, interesting and most of all warming new home designs!
2020 has taught us many things, most of all is that beauty can be found in the smaller things in life. People have found joy in their homes, their local area and a little further afield around the UK as travel restrictions have meant that we can’t go abroad.
Research has shown that the UK staycation market looks set to boom in 2021 when the latest lockdown has ended. Data suggests that 83% of British travellers would prefer a UK staycation than travel abroad this year, bringing a boost to the country’s hospitality sector by seeing holidaymakers flock to the sunnier parts of the UK, spending an estimated 8billion in the process.
In reflection of this our new designs revolve around UK locations that represent the idyllic holidays throughout the country and what we belive will be the Year of the Retreat.
The first design to be released….
The Forest
A classic summer house with an inspired veranda, an open and airy dining, kitchen & living area and a suitably large, cleverly designed master suite. Stimulated by a sociable Manhattan dweller lifestyle, the Forest is spacious with perfect areas for entertaining & ‘phone-free zones’. In this free space, you can make breakfast, invite guests for dinner, or sit comfortably on a sofa by the TV. However, in true Pathfinder Homes’ style, this design represents a merge with nature, relaxing on the porch in the warm summer evenings or crisp, clear autumn nights, pastel colours & bringing the outdoors in undercover to enjoy the local scenery.

The Hollicombe…
Unveiling in August
The name-based upon a beach in the south-west, synonymous with holiday breaks and getaways for holidaymakers up and down the country. With its distinctive red sand backed by tall cliffs it’s a sunbather’s paradise… so too is this latest design. The Hollicombe is a beautifully finished home, ideal for a relaxing retirement or indeed holiday living. Full height panoramic windows and French doors flood the living area with natural light. The interior represents modern living at it’s very best – we can’t wait to show you this!
